Using Tourism Statistics
The data presented on our tourism statistics page is based on data published by governments and tourism organizations worldwide and is compiled into graphical formats. These are not proprietary to JTB Tourism Research & Consulting. For further details, please refer to the original sources.
Use and Citation of Our Materials
You may use publicly available data, provided that you clearly cite the source and do not alter the data in any way. If you wish to use the data for commercial purposes or modify it, please contact us via the inquiry form and provide the following information: (1) the name of the survey or dataset you wish to use, and (2) the intended use.
Media Inquiries
We accept media inquiries via the contact form on this page. We typically respond within one business day, excluding weekends and holidays. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate last-minute requests or certain types of inquiries. We appreciate your understanding.
Discontinuation of the Travel Geography Certification Exam
The Travel Geography Certification Program was discontinued after the June 2025 examination. Issuance of certificates will end in February 2026. Inquiries will be accepted until the end of March 2027; from April 1, 2027, all related services, including inquiries regarding examination results, will be discontinued.
Availability of Textbooks
All other textbook sales were discontinued as of December 2025.
